2010 Japan APEC Energy Ministerial Meeting in Fukui Promotion Association
Preceding “”2010 Japan APEC Energy Ministerial Meeting” in June in the next year, for related organizations as one to make preparations to accept participants, “2010 Japan APEC Energy Ministerial Meeting in Fukui Promotion Association” has been established, including Fukui Prefecture, related cities, economic and tourism groups, and environment and energy groups as its members.

Activities Plan (2010)
1 Supporting Projects for Japan APEC Energy Ministerial Meeting,
To cooperate with the national government in the implementation of Japan APEC Energy Ministerial Meeting, support the participants in the Meeting, and provide them with Fukui information,
Draw up plans related to the support for the implementation of the meeting.
Select the commemorative gifts for the participants.
Recruit volunteer translators and other volunteers.
2. Public Information Projects
To comprehensively inform people in Fukui that Japan APEC Energy Ministerial Meeting will be held in Fukui Prefecture,
Produce and distribute posters and leaflets as public relations.
Produce and distribute “Omotenashi (hospitality) Handbook” of simple greetings in the languages of member economies.
Produce and distribute brochures introducing member economies.
Operate the website.
3. Enlightening Projects
To promote the understanding of people in Fukui and ferment the welcoming mood of the local communities prior to Japan APEC Energy Ministerial Meeting,
Plan and implement “APEC Children Energy Forum (tentative)” for elementary and junior high school students to study about energy and make presentations.
Perform PR activities by making a presentation in Fukui Environment Fair, Hokuriku Technology Exchange Fair, and other events.
