Announcement of the Holding of “Rice Festival”
Rice, our staple food, is a supporter of Fukui’s rich food life, as the only foodstuff which Japan can be self-sufficient for and is well-balanced healthy food.
In recent years rice consumption has been decreasing. Through this “rice festival” introducing local activities of food education volunteers, local brand rice, and “komeko (powdered rice)” which draws attention now, why don’t you think over the attraction and significance of “rice”?

*Direct sale by producers of Fukui brand rice and bread of powdered rice, and more
