We would like to announce that Fukui Fine Arts Museum will hold The 10th Exhibition of Collections in the Museum with a Theme in the fiscal 21th year of the Heisei era, as follows.

9:00 a.m. – 17:00 p.m. (last admission: 16:30 p.m.)
5. Content
Among the museum’s stored items, ukiyoe by Hokusai and Hiroshige, works by contemporary Japanese artists, and European works by Goya, Daumier, Picasso, Chagall, and other artists ranging from the 16th century to the present time are exhibited.
6. Main Exhibits
*Katsushika Hokusai: “Shokoku Meikyo Kiran Echizen Fukui no Hashi” (Edo period)
*1st Utagawa Hiroshige: “Sankai Mitate Zumou Echizen Yuno Toge” (Edo period)
*Honre Daumier: “Robert Macaire” (1839)
*Francisco Goya: “Los Disparates” (1864)
*Publo Picasso: “Still life under a lamp” (1962)
*Marc Chagall: “A dawn of Saint Paul” (1968)
And others
7. Admission fee
Adults and University Students: 100 yen
(A group of more than 30 people can get a 20% discount.)
High school students and younger, 70 years and older, and those who have a physically disabled certificate are free of charge.
*With a ticket for “Hurtling Japanese Cars” which is held at the same time, you can see this exhibition from of charge.
8. Other Information
Recently Fukui Prefecture has been promoting people in Fukui to have more “Family Time”, so we do hope that you will take this opportunity with your family members together.
*”Family Time” means the time spent by families caring for children to talk with, enjoy themselves altogether, and cooperate with each other.
We regret to say that staff members during the period speak only Japanese.
