About the Holding of “Do-n to Echizen / Wakasa in Tenjinbashisuji Syotengai: Ume Kaido / Saba Kaido Festival”
With an aim to promote Fukui specialties and tourism, Fukui Prefecture and Wakasa Tourism Association will hold “Do-n to Echizen / Wakasa in Tenjinbashisuji Syotengai: Ume Kaido / Saba Kaido Festival” as follows.

*Food tasting and sales of specialties of Echizen and Wakasa
*Display of full-length skeletal preparations of a dinosaur (replica)
*Tourist information exhibitions of Fukui Prefecture
*Demonstration of Wakasa-nuri-bashi (lacquered chopsticks) and hands-on activities of sharpening them
*Fukui Chiritotechin Rakugo (Japanese sit-down comedy) no Kai (20th (Sat) 10:00 am at Tenma Tenjin Hanjotei)
*Food education activity booth by high school students in Fukui
*Fukui yuru-kyaras’ great march
*Quiz rally
*Sales of local menus
And more
In addition, before the opening, a fest where Fukui yuru-kyaras pray for the success of this event will be held at Osaka Tenmangu at 10:30 am.
