Opened in July of 2000, the Prefectural Dinosaur Museum has received high praise as being both a focal point for domestic dinosaur research as well as being a fun and enjoyable place for all those harboring a love for the ancient.
Prefectural Concert Hall (Harmony Hall Fukui)
Becoming the focal point for supporting arts and entertainment in the prefecture, Harmony Hall Fukui was opened in September of 1997. Fukui residents as well as artists from both within and outside the prefecture continue to use and rely on this Concert Hall.
Prefectural Library
The Fukui Prefectural Library was opened in February of 2003 as the center for lifelong learning in the prefecture with 300,000 books.

Ichijodani Asakura Family Site Museum
